Sim's Park:
It is a famous landmark at Coonoor that is basically a botanical garden. Spread over an area of 12 hectares, the park has a collection of more than 1,000 species of plants. The park was urbanized partially in the Japanese style.

The Pasteur Institute:
The Pasteur institute is also an important attraction at the town, which specializes in the research of vaccines for rabies and polio. Visitors are allowed visit the institute only on Saturdays. Waterfalls:
