Adilabad, India

Adilabad city is located in the state of Telangana (erstwhile in Andhra Pradesh) in the southern part of India. The city gets its name from the early ruler of Bijapur, Ali Adil Shah. It was formed out of a sub-district named Sirpur-Tandur in 1905.
