Donyi Polo Temple was founded in 1989 by Talom Rukbo. The temple is the place where the sun and the moon are worshipped. It is one of the centers, which propagates the ancient religion of the region - Donyi Poloism. The temple also features a mediation room along with a prayer hall.

Founded in a thatched building with mere 35 students, Ramakrishna Ashram is now the biggest attraction of the town. The mission started this school at Along for the tribal of Arunachal Pradesh in 1966. Presently, Ramakrishna Ashram has several sections and various activities also take place here.
