Best Places to Visit in Auli

Trishul Peak
Located at a height of 23,490 feet, it is one of the most ski-friendly ranges of Auli. There is a lake as well at the bottom of the slopes of the peak called as Roopkand. It is supposed to be a mystery lake as more than 600 skeletal remains of humans and horses were found here.

Joshimath:
Located 32 km away from Auli, Joshimath is a religious site. It is believed that Adi Shankaracharya has received enlightenment here. The place features two temples – Narsingh Temple and Garud Temple. There is a holy tree as well, which is supposed to 2500 years old.
