It was established in the year 1979 and enjoys deep valleys, high hills and more than 200 species of orchids. The sanctuary also houses various animals like red panda and pheasant. The beauty of the sanctuary is alive throughout the year. Winter season makes its environment gorgeously beautiful.
Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary:
Spread over an area of 217 km2, this wildlife sanctuary enjoys the panoramic views of waterfalls flowing from lesser heights and Kameng River. It is home to different birds like eagle, hornbill, kingfishers, ducks and pheasants.
