Best Places to Visit in Chidambaram

Chidambaram Nataraja Temple:
Spread over an area of 40 acres, it is one of the ancient temples of Tamil Nadu. The temple also features Sivakamiamman Temple and a hall having thousand of pillars.

Mayiladuthurai:
This place is famous for the Dakshinamurthi shrine and the God of wisdom. It also features the famous Mayiladuthurai Temple.

Melakadambur:
Located 30 km away from Chidambaram, it is a small place where you can come across a number of religious places. The place has got a brick structured temple constructed during 1113 A.D. It houses an idol of dancing God Shiva that reflects the Pala art. It features Devara Shrine and Karakkoil that are must visit attractions on your Chidambaram trip.
