Durg, India

Khuntaghat:
Khuntaghat is a wonderful picnic spot where you can spend some leisure time with your family. It also features a dazzling garden. In the pond, one can enjoy the boating facility.

Achanakmar Wildlife Sanctuary:
This sanctuary is located at a distance of 50 km away from Bilaspur and spread over a huge area. It houses several endangered animals like leopards, Bengal tigers, and wild bison. Some other animals are striped hyena, sloth bear, sambar deer, Nilgai, Indian four-horned antelope and chinkara. The sanctuary was established in 1975 and is too a Tiger Reserve.

Ratanpur:
Located at a distance of 25 KM from Bilaspur, Ratanpur is a small town and the main popular tourist attraction of this place. It is famous for its Old Fort and Mahamaya Temple. This fort enjoys great historical significance and its gate illustrates the three key deities of Hindus – Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma. Mahamaya Temple is another greatest attraction of Ratanpur. It is an admired Sidh Peeth and one of the most important religious places to worship for Hindus of the region.
