Kapil Muni Temple:
This temple is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Gangasagar (Sagar Island or Sagardwip). The temple has been destroyed and washed away by many storms through times and the present temple is the fourth one that was built in 1973. The temple has a lot of religious significance in the region and attracts huge number of pilgrims towards it.
