Best Places to Visit in Harsil

Dharali:
It is a beautiful hamlet located at a distance of 3 km from Harsil. The place can be reached through excellent roads.

Gaumukh Glacier:
It is the origin of Holy River Ganga, which enjoys a stiff trek from Gangotri. This is a religious place to be visited and guests typically stay overnight at Gangotri before taking the trek in the morning. The glacier has resemblance with cow's mouth.

KedarTal:
Situated at a height of 4,250 meters above the sea level, Kedar Tal is an appealing site featuring crystal clear icy cold water. The exhausting trek to the striking KedarTal starts from Gangotri. It can be reached by a difficult trek of 14 km.

Sattal:
Located at a distance of 3 km from Harsil, Sattal is a combination of 7 lakes surrounded with a beautiful atmosphere. Its mysterious gathering of seven lakes is simply awesome.
