Ekambareswarar Temple:
Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Ekambareswarar Temple is an amazingly built temple in Kanchipuram. The temple complex was built long ago preceding 600AD. The structure of the temple has witnessed many impressive changes. The main deity of the temple is Prithvi Lingam.
Kailashnatha Temple:
This temple is also dedicated to Lord Shiva and features a superb example of early Dravidian architecture. The simplicity of the temple is amazingly elegant. The construction of the temple started during the 7th century. You can find here a number of smaller shrines within the temple complex, which are of Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvathi and their sons Ganesha and Murugan.
Vardhamana Perumal:
It is one of the greatest attractions of the city and famous Vaishnava shrine in the region. The temple features bronze idols of Vishnu and his consorts and architecture of temple has elements of 12th century Chola and 16th century Vijayanagar dynasties.
