Best Places to Visit in Kanker

Shivani Temple:
It is one of the oldest temples in Kanker and a popular religious center of Hindus of the region. The temple is devoted to Goddess Durga and Goddess Kali. In this temple, Navratri festival is enjoyed with complete fervor and enthusiasm.

Gadiya Mountain:
It is one of the superb places to visit and is known by the name of Kila Dongri - the highest mountain in Kanker. It is believed that when King Dharma Dev of the Kandra dynasty won Kanker, he declared Gadiya Mountain as its capital.

Charre-Marre Falls:
Charre-Marre Falls is an amazing scenic place, which is situated in Kanker district between Antagarh and Aamabera. The fall is created by the Jogidahara River that flows in the Matla Valley creating a beautiful waterfall that is 16 meters high.

Malanjhkudum Falls:
It is a beautiful picnic spot in Kanker region and is located on the Doodh River. It is the junction of three waterfalls and is created by the river at Malanjhkudum. The heights of three waterfalls are 10 meters, 15 meters and 9 meters.
