Naina Devi Temple

Naina Devi Temple is a well known temple in Nainital, which is dedicated to goddess Naina Devi. It is situated in the northern side of Naini Lake. In Naina Devi temple, one can see the sculpted figures of Mata kali and lord Ganesha. It is one of the shakti peeths of India where eyes of Goddess Sati fell. The temple has great religious significance.

Hanuman Garhi

Hanuman Garhi is situated at a height of 1951 meters. It is a famous Hanuman temple offering gorgeous and memorable sunset views to the visitors. There are few other temples in its proximity.

Naini Lake

Naini Lake is heart of Nainital and bounded by seven majestic hills. The whole city is located surrounding Naini Lake. It is the key attraction of tourists coming to Nainital. The depth of this lake ranges between 26 km and 6 meters. The lake is surrounded by hill, cottages, and villas.

Naina Peak or China Peak

Naina Peak is the highest peak in the area, which is positioned at an elevation of 2620 meters. Naina peak is 6 kms away from Nainital. A walk to the peak may be exhausting and one may hire a pony from Snow View Point or Mallital. After you reached at peak, a different world will be waiting for you. St John’s Church

Bheem Tal

Bheem Tal is situated at a distance of 22 Km from Nainital and located at an altitude of 1370 meters above the sea levels. Sat Tal

Sat Tal is located at a distance of 20 km away from Nainital and just approx 3km from Bheem Tal. Sat Tal is comprised of seven small lakes including, Sita Tal, Laxman Tal, Purna Tal, Nal Damyanti Tal, Garud Tal, Sukha Tal and Ram Tal. The place offers adventurers a wide range of biking, mountain biking, rock climbing, night-trekking, river-crossing and boating, jungle-safari and night-camping opportunities. One can also enjoy boating and fishing at this place.

Khurpatal

Khurpatal is another beautiful lake, located at a distance of 12 kilometers away from Nainital. The lake is a procreation ground of fishes. It is mostly visited by anglers. A shorter walk route of five kilometers will get you here or hire a taxi.

Tiffin Top

Tiffin top is a small trek of around 4 km from Nainital. The top provides a bird’s eye view of the Himalayas and the Nainital town. The road to this scenic spot moves along the rugged hillside this way that nature has created this gorgeous spot to enjoy your solitude.

Kainchi Dham

Eco Cave Gardens

Gaumukh Temple is a popular religious place to visit in Nainital. You can visit this place for meditation, excursions, picnics and exploring its statues. You have to climb 733 steps to reach Gaumukh and then 30 steps to reach the temple. There is cow head like structure as the main deity of the temple.
