The Naag (Cobra) Temple
Naag Temple is located close to Mantalai at Krimchi, a place where the marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati had been organized. The temple is supposed to be one of the oldest places in Patnitop, which is about 600 years old. Situated on the top of a hill, this temple invites thousands of devotees during Naag Panchami Festival.
Mantalai Lake is the source of River Parvati and enjoys scenic beauty of this valley. It offers a challenging trek to the adventurers coming on this route. There is an ancient temple of Lord Shiva close to this temple. At this place, Goddess Parvati was born and also got married to Lord Shiva. Sudh Mahadev Temple
It is an important pilgrimage site in Patnitop and one of the oldest temples of Lord Shiva in Udhampur. In the premises of the temple, there is a Trident (Trishul) that is called as 'Gaja'. The holy Trident has been mentioned in the ancient manuscript that forms a significant topic of research for the archeological department.
It is also a famous attraction in Patnitop, which is situated at the trekking route located in Patnitop. This amazing tourist attraction is positioned at an elevation of about 3,500 meters. The main temple, which is in ruins, is located about 11 km away from Patnitop.
