Mystery of Roopkund Lake
In 1942, a mystery about Roopkund Lake came into existence that named it Mystery Lake or Skeleton Lake. More than 600 human skeletons were found here leaving everyone to wonder and thrill about this strikingly and thrillingly mysterious place. The mystery behind the skeleton lake of Roopkund has been solved. As per the latest studies conducted by a group of scientists, the skeletons belong to 9th tribes who died due to frozen rainstorm. The group conducting studies revealed that the skeletons were of pilgrims and locals.
