Best Places to Visit in Sonamarg

Nilagrad:
It is a Baltic colony, located around 6 KM away from Sonamarg, where a mountain river meets the Indus river. The water of this river is reddish in colour and it is believed to have therapeutic powers of many diseases. Thus, many people visit this place on Sundays to bath in the river.

Yousmarg:
Yousmarg is the popular picnic spot situated close to Sonamarg. This place is known for its green pastures, firs and pines.

Nichnai Pass:
Nichnai Pass is the classic point to capture the view of the beautiful lakes, Vishansar, Krishansar and Gangabal.

Thajiwas:
