The forest department in Nagarhole offers minibus safari in the national reserve. Jeep safaris inside the park are also allowed, only if you have brought your own jeep. Otherwise, you need to seek the permission from the forest department. You must take a guide along with you for a jeep safari. The park and safari timings are 6 to 8 in the morning and 3 to 5.30 in the evening. Another exciting fun-filled activity to enjoy in the park is 'boating'. You can take a relaxing boat ride through the Kabini River's backwater to see crocodiles, birds and various other animals. You can also opt for an overnight stay in the river lodge for a complete experience of the natural habitat.
