Located at a distance of 24 km from Pemayangtse Monastery, Khecheopalri Lake is a holy lake that is positioned on north-west of Pelling and is supposed to be very sacred for Buddhists and Hindus. It is also known by names like Kha-Chot-Palri, Wishing Lake and Sho Dzo Sho.Admired as the second oldest monastery of Sikkim, Sangachoeling Monastery is a must visit attraction of the town. It was built in the year 1695 by Lhatsun Ankh Sigma. The Monastery is situated 3 km away from south west of Pelling.
