It features a beautiful dam constructed over Gandak River.It is another wildlife sanctuary in West Champaran district of Bihar. The sanctuary was established in 1978 and is spread over an area of 8.74 km². The sanctuary has a rest house and is also a home to variety of water birds (both resident and migratory).
