Best Places to Visit in Thoubal

Khangabok:
Khangabok is amongst the most important tourist destinations of Manipur. It is the biggest village of the state falling under the administration of Thoubal district. The 'Meiteis' are the primary ethnic group populating the village and the language spoken here is Meiteilon or Manipuri.

Khongjom:
Khongjom is one of the most popular destinations in Thoubal district. Here, the last battle of independence was fought against the British by the Manipuris.

Rivers and Lakes:
There are various rivers and lakes gushes in Thoubal. The most important rivers crossing through the district are 'Imphal' and 'Thoubal'. While talking of the lakes, the most famous ones are Lousi Lake, Ikop Lake, Waithou Lake and Pumlen Lake.

Kakching:

Sugnu:
It is another important trading centre of the Thoubal district. Sugnu is well connected with capital –Imphal State Highway. This place is about 74 KM from Imphal.
