It is one of the most visited sacred places near Chandigarh. It is situated 15 km from the city on the banks of River Ghagar. It is remarked as the stopover of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and his Sikh warriors on their returning from the battle with the Mughals.

Mata Mansa Devi Temple

Dedicated to Goddess Mansa Devi, the temple is situated about 8 km from Chandigarh. There is a scenic garden immediately close to the temple. The garden is full of holy plants. It is one of the holiest places to be visited in Chandigarh.

Martyr’s Memorial

Located close to the Assembly building, Martyr’s Memorial is a monument that is built to honor the martyrs of the Punjab partition. The memorial is an expression of thankfulness to those courageous soldiers, who martyred for the nation.
