Faridabad is located in the north Indian state of Haryana and is a main industrial city of the state. Best Places to Visit in Faridabad

Badhkal Lake:
Located in the Badhkal village in Faridabad, Badhkal Lake is around 8 KM away from the Delhi border. It's an artificial lake that is encircled by the Aravali mountain range. Every year during spring season, a flower show is conducted here that attracts a large number of visitors from different regions.

Peacock Lake:
It is another beautiful lake located near to the Badhkal Lake. Here, you can enjoy water sports, canoeing, boating, kayaking etc.

Baba Farid's Tomb:

Raja Nahar Singh Palace:
Raja Nahar Singh Palace, also known as Ballabhgarh Fort Palace is situated in Ballabhgarh village. This palace was constructed by Rao Balram, who was the antecedent of the Jat Raja Nahar Singh. During the Indian war of independence, Jat Raja lost his life. This Fort Palace is very popular for its architecture and depiction of art and culture of that period.

Surajkund:
History dates back that the Surajkund complex was built during Tomar dynasty by King Surajpal and thus, got its name as Surajkund. However, there are also stories which say that the famous Sun temple was built here and it is only after this temple, the place got its name as Surajkund meaning 'Lake of the Sun'. You can find remains of the sun temple around the Surajkund Lake. The complex encloses Rajhans, garden and a pool of fresh water. It is a popular picnic spot for entertainment. The annual Surajkund Crafts Mela is another famous attraction of this place.
