In terms of shopping, you won't get much of choices to buy as Purulia is mainly famous for its natural beauty and tribal life. However, you can buy variety of items made by tribal people as souvenirs for loved ones or home decoration. You will get to enjoy different tribal dance forms and various festivals in the region.Amongst the temples and sculptures dating back to the Pal and Sen Dynasties, few stand intact in Deulghata, situated on the bank of Kansabati River. There are two big temples of burnt brick. Marvelously carved stone figures of Durga, Ganesh and Parvati etc. are found here.
