This place is a famous pilgrimage centre located in the Rangareddy region. The key attraction of Maheshwaram is the ruins of an ancient Shiva temple. Besides this, comprise of two fortresses namely, Vishnu Ganga and Shiva Ganga along with a Kacheri House of Akkanna and Madanna & four ministers of the Bhaktha Ramdas era; as well as the Kodanda Ramalayam and the Shivaji Durgam.
